Most caregivers in Israel have all around jobs. They are stay-in, with their safta (grandmother) or saba (grandfather) or both, or aba (father), or ima (mother), or both. Others also work for a child or a family. Several caregivers are living alone with their boss. Meaning, there are 2 or 3 persons in a house including the caregiver. Generally, if a caregiver lives alone with one employer, he or she will do the shopping errand, cleaning, giving medicine to his/her employer, accompanying her to the doctor, mall, park, cooking, washing, bathing and other works that needs her/his assistance. There are few caregivers also that we call live-out. They only attend their employers with a specific time. This will depend on the situation of the employer.
